Iran has plans to transform education system
The Iranian President has praised the performance of teachers and vowed to transform the education system in the country.
 
In a ceremony on the occasion of Teachers' Day on Tuesday, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad thanked the country's top teachers for their performance in classrooms across the country and said that the education system will be transformed, IRNA reported.

He said that the education system transformation document laid down in the country will be put into force, adding it covers all areas including textbooks, content, educational inclinations and relations between teachers and students.
 
The president said that the media especially IRIB will coordinate their educational programs with the Education Ministry, adding society is moving ahead toward higher places backed by the education circles.
 
Ahmadinejad went on to say that teachers have a very important responsibility as they deal with students and their training. He said people trained in the educational circles should turn into professional people who do their jobs properly in the country.

He said that our mission is to build Iran, adding to do that and to train the coming generations there would be no stop to education and training.
